Product recall issued for Deltronic Security AB i10 environmental alarms

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) published a product recall on 18 November 2025 for Deltronic Security AB i10 environmental alarms, covering smart, remotely monitored smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detectors1. The recall was notified by Local Authority Trading Standards under notification number 2511-0104, and the product has been recalled from end users1.

The affected units are the Smoke i10 (Art 8276), Heat i10 (Art 8277) and CO i10 (Art 8278), carrying label 4170008319 and batch numbers Lots 156 to 158 inclusive1. They were manufactured in Sweden between April 2022 and 4 July 20221.

The OPSS states that certain units may not provide the necessary alert to the remote monitoring centre where fire, smoke or carbon monoxide is detected, when the product's battery is failing, and that the products present a risk of serious harm1. The recall notice says the product does not meet the requirements of the Radio Equipment Regulations 20171.

Why it matters for households

These are monitored alarms, so the concern is not only whether the unit sounds at home but whether a signal reaches a remote monitoring centre when the battery is failing1. Households with an i10 unit in the listed lots, made between April 2022 and 4 July 2022, are within the recall1. The OPSS has not reported how many units are affected in the UK, and no injuries or incidents connected with the recall have been reported in the notice1. The recall notice gives no deadline for contacting the support team1. Households can check whether an electrical product has been recalled using the guide on how to check if an electrical product has been recalled, and general alarm guidance is set out in the home emergencies hub and in battery or mains smoke alarms.

What happens next

The OPSS states that the product has been recalled from end users and that owners should contact the Careium Support Team by email to obtain a replacement unit or ask questions1. No further timetable for the recall has been reported1.
